The 20th China-Japan Natural Language Processing Joint Promotion Conference (CJNLP2023) is organized by the Chinese Information Processing Society of China. It is co-hosted by Kunming University of Science and Technology and West Yunnan University of Applied Sciences. The conference aims to provide a communication platform in the field of natural language processing for China and Japan, promoting research and technical cooperation in natural language processing between the two countries and even in the Asian region.
The China-Japan Natural Language Processing Joint Promotion Conference (CJNLP), began in 2001 and is held annually. Conferences are held in cities in Japan during odd-numbered years and in cities in China during even-numbered years. The inaugural CJNLP was initiated and organized by the National Institute of Information and Communication Technology (NICT) of Japan. The 2nd to 19th CJNLP conferences were held in cities in China including Beijing, Harbin, Suzhou, Chengdu, Guilin, as well as in cities in Japan such as Okinawa, Matsue, Aomori, and Kitakyushu.
CJNLP2023 will be held from November 11th to 13th, 2023, at the Empark Grand Hotel Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China. The conference theme is "NLP Large Language Model(LLM)," and it will focus on the hot topics in the field of LLM, and engage in a deep discussion to explore the current status and future trends of large model development.
